The AAAS Annual Meeting is a widely recognized global science gathering, bringing thousands of scientists, engineers, policymakers, educators, and journalists together to discuss the most recent developments in science and technology.
Annual Meeting Poster Sessions
Poster Sessions are an opportunity to present and discuss research with the diverse community of AAAS attendees. The 2015 meeting poster submissions site will open 15 May.
Student Poster Competition
The Student Poster Competition is open to students actively working towards an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree. Winners in each category receive a cash award and certificate, a one-year AAAS membership that includes a subscription to the journal Science, and names published in Science.
Student poster presenters can receive free registration by also serving as Student Session Aides. Volunteer for 8 hours and receive free registration; volunteer for 16 hours and receive online access to Science for a year.
General Poster Session
The General Poster Session is open to the broad community of scientists attending the Annual Meeting. This includes doctorates, post-docs, professionals, and invited submitters.
Posters will be voted on by meeting attendees; the entry that receives the most votes will be recognized in Science.
Poster judges are qualified scientists, engineers, and other professionals in scientific subjects. They meet and network with colleagues from across the country and around the world and they provide mentorship and guidance to the next generation of scientists and engineers.
Poster judges also receive deeply discounted Annual Meeting registration.
