Beth Rosner is the publisher of Science and the director of the AAAS Office of Publishing and Member Services. Prior to her current position, she served for 11 years as Science's Associate Publisher. In this capacity, she ran the business office and ad sales group. During her tenure as Associate Publisher ad sales more than doubled in size. Before coming to AAAS, Rosner was Associate Publisher of The Scientist, at the time published by the Institute for Scientific Information in Philadelphia. In that position, she ran both circulation and advertising areas. Rosner also held circulation and advertising management positions at Cell Press and MIT's Technology Review Magazine. Rosner has a B.A. and M.A from Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated with honors. She has served and continues to serve on numerous committees and publishing boards for organizations, including CrossRef, the citation-linking service for scholarly publications, the National Academy of Sciences, and the American Institute of Physics.
