Peter Spotts

PETER SPOTTS

Over the last six years, Peter Spotts has been reporting on science and technology for The Christian Science Monitor. He writes news and feature articles on scientific developments across a wide range of fields, as well as on science policy.

A 24-year veteran of the Monitor, Spotts has served the newspaper in a variety of positions including chief editorial writer, national news editor, special-projects editor, and Midwest correspondent.

He recently completed the prestigious Knight Science Journalism Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Spotts graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Miami, Florida. He is married with three children.
