Dennis Meredith

Dennis Meredith

Dennis Meredith is assistant vice president for news and communications at Duke University. He came to that position in 1991. Previously, he was senior science editor for the Cornell University News Service for four years, and for nine years News Bureau director at the California Institute of Technology. He has also worked as managing editor of Technology Review magazine at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Meredith has served as science writer in the M.I.T. News Service and the University of Rhode Island News Bureau, and as assistant director for public information at the University of Wisconsin Medical Center. He holds a B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of Texas and an M.S. in biochemistry-science writing from the University of Wisconsin.
