Corinna Wu

Corinna Wu

Corinna Wu is producer of AAAS's award-winning radio program, Science Update — a syndicated news feature that airs every weekday on commercial stations nationwide. She is also a freelance science writer and a contributing editor at Prism, the magazine of the American Society for Engineering Education.

Prior to coming to AAAS, she was a staff writer at Science News (covering chemistry and materials science) and a reporter-researcher at U.S. News and World Report. She has also done laboratory research at the NASA-Johnson Space Center, Syracuse University, and Argonne National Laboratory.

Wu earned a B.A. in Chemistry from Swarthmore College, an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University, and a graduate certificate in Science Communication from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
