Gifts to AAAS are placed in the Fund for Excellence, which provides valuable support to the Association. These highly advantageous gifts allow the chief executive officer to direct resources to new initiatives undertaken by AAAS in support of its mission. Unrestricted giving is critical for meeting the ever-changing, and often unexpected, challenges of the future.
If you prefer, you may choose to designate your contribution to support a particular programmatic area and their overarching work. Contributions designated to a specific program will be used in support of initiatives undertaken by it, at the discretion of the director.
Additionally, AAAS Development would be happy to work with you to create a specific endowment in support of the many exciting AAAS initiatives, including fellowship awards, lectures, conference series, or program specific initiatives.
