Position: European Outreach Program Manager (Cambridge UK Office)

Successful candidate will work with the marketing and sales staff, target partners in academia and industry to produce career education outreach events for scientists in Europe; organize and run events with a major focus being expansion of the Science Careers brand to key audiences by providing careers education opportunities (e.g., grant writing, basics of scientific publishing for researchers, interviewing skills, etc.) in small and large group settings at company facilities, universities and at conferences; key markets include academia in life science areas and industry, especially the bioprocessing field. This is a full-time position located in Cambridge, UK.
Qualifications: Position requires a Ph.D in the life sciences or an advanced degree in education with an emphasis and experience in career training; basic marketing experience including planning and implementing promotions for events; demonstrated professional presentation skills including ability to present to large groups and fun events with multiple speakers; excellent written and verbal communication skills; team player; extremely organized and a self starter; ability to travel is required.
