Public Science Day

A one-day, opening event for the AAAS Annual Meeting, celebrated in the host city of Seattle, WA. This annual event takes students on an educational journey to local museums and scientific institutions to participate in hands-on science activities, thus fostering a greater appreciation of the scientific processes at work in the world around them. Details available in autumn.

Family Science Days

One of our most popular events held Saturday and Sunday. Visit the Exhibit Hall to find inspiration in lab demonstrations that show the fun of science, kid-friendly chemistry projects and other intriguing events. Family Science Days also involve local libraries and community centers in promoting interest in science and capturing all the excitement of scientific discovery. Details available in autumn.

Marine Science Portal

The Marine Science Pavilion is an all-inclusive venue for what's "hot" in the marine sciences. At this interactive pavilion, both children and adults will find information and educational resources on marine science.

A special theater will show recent expeditions and the technological advances that make these explorations possible. Join us Saturday, 14 February, for a special Marine Sciences Reception in the exhibit hall.
