Career Development Workshops provide tools for
those seeking careers in science or wishing to
develop new skills. They are informational or
instructional in nature, but not commercial. They
differ from Exhibitor Workshops, which are intended
to highlight or demonstrate a particular product
or exhibitor.

- Title of Proposed Workshop
- Organizer: Please include institution,
full mailing address, e-mail,
fax and phone. All correspondence will be to
the Organizer. If you would prefer someone else
to be the contact for correspondence please
indicate that person.
- Workshop Description: Please highlight
the specific value it will have for career development
and the skills taught or information that will
be provided.
- Length: How much time will your workshop
require? Workshops are scheduled in 60 or 90
minute slots.
- Audience: Who do you think will attend
your workshop? Briefly describe the intended
audience. Why would this workshop be relevant
to their career development?
- Speakers: Who will present your workshop?
Please provide name, affiliation, address, phone,
fax and email. Why is/are this/these person(s)
qualified to present this workshop?
Please note we do not pay for speaker travel.
- Printed Materials: Will you provide
supplemental materials to attendees ? If so,
please describe these. Please note that AAAS
does not have funds to print and distribute
such materials.
- Audiovisual: Will you require any audiovisual
equipment? Rooms are routinely equipped with
a podium microphone, LCD projector, screen,
and an electronic pointer. Additional equipment
(e.g., VCR, flat screen projector, Internet
connection) is the responsibility of the workshop
presenter. AAAS can assist you with making these
arrangements.
