Teacher Track: Science NetLinks Internet Content for the Classroom (ICFC)

Earn continuing education credit hours while learning to integrate high quality science Internet content into the classroom.

Produced by AAAS, Science NetLinks is a nationally recognized provider of free, high-quality science education content, centered on Internet-based resources. It is the science component of the multidisciplinary Marco Polo Partnership, which includes the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), National Geographic, the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and other prominent educational organizations.

Overview
Friday, 18 February • 10:30AM–NOON; 1:45PM–3:15PM • Open to all Registrants

Open to all registrants. Paid registration is required for each Continuing Education session. Tickets will be issued.

An introduction to Science NetLinks, showing participants how to use this online tool to find: approved web resources sorted by grade band and content area; comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate approved web resources; handy web resources judged useful in the science classroom.

Teacher sessions will introduce you to Science Netlinks, a nationally recognized provider of high quality science education content, and show you how to bring internet content into your classroom. Teachers learn the latest strategies and techniques for technology integration from some of the nation's top science and technology specialist sponsored by the AAAS.
