Special Seminar: Forum for School Science

A continuing AAAS activity, the 2005 Forum will examine topics vital to science and math education, moving "ahead of the curve" to predict the shape of policy on education reform. Discussions will include technological tools, university/school partnerships, K-12 curriculum and cognitive research. A poster session will illustrate the experiences of participants.
  

Teacher Track: Science NetLinks Internet Content for the Classroom (ICFC)

Earn continuing education credit hours while learning to integrate high quality science Internet content into the classroom registering for the Teacher Track. Registration also includes admission to the 2005 Forum for School Science, a one year AAAS membership, and much more!

American Junior Academy of Sciences Posters

Public Science Day

A one-day, opening event for the AAAS Annual Meeting, celebrated in the host city of Washington, DC. This annual event takes students on an educational journey to local museums and scientific institutions to participate in hands-on science activities, thus fostering a greater appreciation of the scientific processes at work in the world around them. Family Science Days


  

One of our most popular events held Saturday and Sunday. Visit the Exhibit Hall to find inspiration in lab demonstrations that show the fun of science, kid-friendly chemistry projects and other intriguing events. Family Science Days also involve local libraries and community centers in promoting interest in science and capturing all the excitement of scientific discovery.
