The AAAS Poster Session provides the opportunity for individuals to present their research and offers an excellent venue for extended informal discussion with meeting attendees.

All posters will be peer-reviewed. Accepted posters will be listed in the 2006 AAAS Annual Meeting Poster Book.

Open to postdocs and professionals
This session provides opportunity to present your research to the broad community of scientists attending the AAAS Meeting.
  

Student Posters
Open to college undergraduate and graduate students only
This session recognizes the individual efforts of students actively working toward a college-level degree.
  

American Junior Academy of Sciences (AJAS) Posters
By invitation only
This special poster session is for high school students who have been invited to participate by their respective State Science Academies. You must have received an invitation with submission instructions to participate. Unsolicited posters are not accepted in this session.

  • Environment and Ecology, includes agriculture, food, and renewable resources; geology and geography; and atmospheric and hydrospheric sciences
  • Math, Technology, and Engineering, includes statistics, computers, information technology, and industrial science
  • Medicine and Public Health, includes dentistry and oral health sciences, medical and pharmaceutical sciences
  • Molecular and Cellular, includes organismic life sciences and biological and chemical sciences
  • Physical Sciences, includes astronomy, physics, and chemistry
  • Social Sciences, includes education, language and culture, anthropology, economics, and political sciences
  • Science in Society, includes societal impacts of science and engineering, general interest in science and engineering, history and philosophy of science, public understanding of science

 The Joshua E. Neimark Memorial Travel Assistance Endowment

The Joshua E. Neimark Memorial Travel Assistance Endowment provides a limited number of grants to support travel for accepted poster presenters to the AAAS Meeting. Anyone submitting a poster may also apply for the grant, however only those individuals whose posters are accepted will be considered.
