Please read below for instructions on how to register for the Annual Meeting.
Advance registration is available until Thursday, 28 January 2010. After that date, on-site rates apply.
Are you a member of the press? If so, visit the Newsroom to register for the meeting.
IMPORTANT: You will be required to show a photo ID to pick up your badge when you arrive at the meeting. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
AAAS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing by 28 January 2010. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date. Refunds are subject to a $50 processing fee and will be issued no less than 3 weeks after the meeting.

- Q. I can't come, but a colleague wants to take my place. What should he/she do?

A. If your colleague brings a letter or e-mail from you, we can swap registrations. A $25 processing fee will apply.
- Q. Will name badges be mailed out before the meeting?

A. Yes, badges will be mailed in January. Please bring the materials you receive to the meeting in order to pick up your badgeholder and tote bag. After 28 January 2010, badges must be picked up on site.
- Q. I registered but I didn't receive my badge. What do I do?

A. Go to the Advance Registration desk in the registration area of the San Diego Convention Center to obtain a new badge. Be sure to bring your photo ID.
- Q. Is it ever too late to register?

A. No! Even during the meeting you can still register on-line at www.aaas.org/meetings and pick up your badge on-site.
