AAAS members can now save on domestic and international car rental rates with Dollar Rent A Car and Hertz. Important: When making reservations, please make sure to use your special Dollar or Hertz AAAS Identification code provided in your membership package to get our reduced rate. If you do not have this code, please contact membership@aaas.org or (202) 326-6417 and an AAAS customer service representative will provide you with this information. Members must also present proof of AAAS membership at the time of rental.

| Hertz offers AAAS members a 15% discount on Hertz Daily Member Benefit Rates (all car classes), a 10% discount on Hertz Standard Daily, Weekend, Weekly and Monthly Rates (all car classes), and a 5% or greater discount on Hertz Leisure Daily, Weekend, Weekly and Monthly Rates (all car classes). |

Dollar offers AAAS members in Canada a 5% discount off daily, weekly and weekend SENSIBLE RATES (Economy - Luxury vehicles and Minivans). SENSIBLE RATES are available at all participating Dollar locations when the vehicle is returned to the original renting location. Rates include 200 kilometers free per day (1400 kilometers per week). Additional kilometers are $.12/kilometer.
Border crossings require prior written approval of rental location. Minimum age for drivers is 21 years of age, unless otherwise stated by law. (In Saskatchewan, the minimum age for car rental is 18 years of age.) No charge for additional drivers presenting a valid driver's license at time of rental. Rates do not include fuel or taxes and normal restrictions apply.

AAAS members renting in Europe, Africa and Middle East locations pay the current EuroDollar Corporate Rates. Dollar locations in Latin America, Mexico and the Caribbean will deduct 10% of each rental's time and mileage upon presentation of valid Dollar Association membership identification.
Members in the continental U.S. may call 1-800-800-6000 to request EuroDollar Corporate Rate information. AAAS international members should contact their local EuroDollar office to inquire about EuroDollar's Corporate Rates.

Please be advised that driver's license checks are required at many rental locations. Driver's licenses of prospective renters and additional drivers are checked against their state's Department of Motor Vehicles records. Should you be denied a rental based on your driving record, Hertz and Dollar representatives cannot discuss with you reasons for denial of rental. All questions should be referred to your Department of Motor Vehicles.

There is no charge for additional drivers listed on the rental agreement when reservations are booked using the AAAS ID number. A valid driver's license and AAAS membership identification must be presented at the time of rental.
