By Saturday, 28 August, the fourth day of EuroScience 2004, Project Leader Gabriella Norlin was reporting 1,800 regular attendees and 350 reporters.
"I'm a bit overwhelmed, but also very happy," Norlin commented during the event. "It has definitely met my expectations and beyond. My biggest personal supporter, throughout all of this, was my husband. But, my greatest professional source of support, by far, was Shirley Malcom of AAAS."
