<< Back Next >>

Albert H. Teich, director of Science & Policy at AAAS, served on a panel on government technology assessment programs during EuroScience Open Forum 2004. The session, organized by Kjell Andersson of Karita Research in Sweden, was titled "Does science help to run the country?" and was coordinated with an invitational meeting and an evening seminar on technology assessment in the Swedish Parliament. Teich offered policy advice for U.S. science and technology, joining other science policy experts from Sweden, the United Kingdom and Norway.
