R&D Budget and Policy Program
Providing timely, comprehensive, and independent analyses of federal research & development funding trends since 1976.
Since 1976, the AAAS R&D Budget and Policy Program has served as a leading source of analysis on funding and policy issues affecting federal support for research and development (R&D). Each year we sift through the President's budget, monitor ongoing Congressional debates, and keep an eye on longer-term budget trends to provide timely and objective information and perspectives on the federal R&D enterprise to policymakers and the science and engineering community.
