Building on AAAS's long-standing commitment to relate scientific knowledge and technological development to the purposes and concerns of society at large, the Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion (DoSER) facilitates communication between scientific and religious communities.

DoSER Resources

Since 1995, DoSER has been working to promote productive and respectful dialogue amongst various groups around questions of science, ethics, and religion. The program’s workshops, symposia, lectures, and publications have resulted in a rich collection of resources that we are excited to make available to all.

DoSER occasionally produces downloadable resources related to our projects. The following resources are outputs of The Perceptions Project:

Publications & Media

Over the years, DoSER has produced a variety of resources that have informed and shaped the science, ethics, and religion discourse.

Thematic Areas Resources

DoSER approaches the science, ethics, and religion dialogue through the lens of five thematic areas: physics and the cosmos; earth and the environment; life sciences; neuroscience, brain, and mind; and, the history and philosophy of science.
