Application/Candidate/Citizenship Requirements:

Applicants must have a doctoral-level degree in any discipline (e.g., PhD, EdD, MD, JD, DSW) no later than June preceding the fellowship. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate exceptional competence in an area of child development research, must be a member of SRCD, and must be a U.S. citizen. Both early- and mid-career applicants are encouraged to apply.

How to apply:

Online applications require: (1) a Statement of interest (1,000 word maximum - no exceptions) that describes the applicant's background and qualifications for the fellowship, basis for interest in the fellowship, including policy areas or issues of interest and skills to be acquired, and career goals, including how the fellowship would support those goals; (2) three letters of recommendation, which your referees must email to policyfellowships@srcd.org This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it by December 15; and (3) a current C.V.

It is recommended that you apply for the Fellowship best suited to your interests and goals. However, some applicants may choose to apply for both Fellowships. In that situation, applicants should submit a separate Statement of Interest for each.
