Think government could use more science?

WHERE THE ACTION IS

DC is where science and policy converge. With assignments in federal agencies, on Capitol Hill, and in the judicial branch, you are at the frontline of important societal issues.

MEET THE EXPERTS

Where else will you get better instruction on how government works than from ground-level experts? Fellowships include a rigorous yearlong Professional Development program that starts with a two-week orientation. Workshops in areas including policy, leadership, and communications are designed to maximize each fellow’s proficiency in the qualifications used as benchmarks for Senior Executive Service (SES) recruitment by the U.S. Government.

A MONUMENTAL LIFESTYLE

World-class museums (most with free admission) and performing arts. A super family-, commuter-, and bike-friendly culture. A strong reputation for sustainability. Each year, DC is ranked among the top destinations in the world. Some fellows also have the opportunity to travel nationally or abroad for their host office.
