Barry Williams manages advertising and collateral production, facilitates outreach operations, orchestrates marketing event logistics, and coordinates vendor relations. In addition, he conducts marketing research and supports social media activities. Barry presents on the S&T Policy Fellowships at info sessions, processes inquiries and manages marketing leads, and administers marketing data.
He received a bachelor's degree in international political economy from Fordham University, and a master's in business administration from American University's Kogod School of Business. Prior to joining the AAAS Fellowships team in 2011, he was on the staff of the Investigative Reporting Workshop providing operations support, and he worked with the Center for the Study of Responsive Law as an office manager.
Barry admits an obsession with branding and finding new marketing strategies to engage people. He is a proud Cincinnati native, and an ardent Arsenal Football (soccer) Club fan.
