Brendan McGovern joined the International Science and Technology Partnerships (INSTP) Program in February 2014, where his work focuses on promoting bilateral Indo-U.S. collaborations in science and technology between government, industry and academia.
Prior to joining INSTP, Brendan worked with the Center for Science, Technology, and Security Policy at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, where he supported various Center initiatives and programs. He has previously interned with the Environmental Security Program at the Stimson Center, where his worked focused on water security, security implications of climate change, and the geopolitics of the Arctic. Brendan has also interned with Global Green USA and the United Nations.
Brendan holds bachelor’s degrees in Political Science – International Relations and History from the University of California, Davis.
