Dr. Se Kim

Dr. Se Kim is the Project Director, contributing to the many goals and events that further the mission of the AAAS DoSER program. Her extensive research background includes human and mammalian genetics, neurobiology, and molecular plant cell biology. Dr. Kim holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and a Ph.D. in Human and Molecular Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine. She continued her research at Rice University, where she was awarded the highly competitive and prestigious National Institute of Health Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Postdoctoral Fellowship (F32). Along with her scientific expertise, Dr. Kim demonstrates a deep commitment and experience in bridging scientific and religious communities through constructive dialogue and education.
