Martin M. Fernandez joined AAAS Project 2061 in the Fall of 2013 as a research assistant. His current function is the evaluation and development of curriculum and assessment materials related to the life sciences. Prior to joining AAAS, he engaged in human biological research concerning public health and nutrition topics. Martin has an M.S. in biomedical anthropology from SUNY Binghamton and a B.A. in anthropology from Syracuse University
