AAAS works hard to encourage children from all types of backgrounds to take and interest in science. You can get involved with your child to encourage the love of learning. AAAS has several programs to engage kids in science:

• Science and Everyday Experiences (SEE) radio program: features African Americans in science, engineering and mathematics.

• Kinetic City: Mission to Vearth is an interactive, web-based science story game that has been developed for 8- to 12-year-olds and for individual use or team play in after-school clubs.
