AAAS Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion (DoSER) facilitates communication between scientific and religious communities. The program builds on AAAS's long-standing commitment to relate scientific knowledge and technological development to the purposes and concerns of society.
The AAAS DoSER Program has occasional internships available for qualified undergraduate and graduate students (recent graduates also accepted). DoSER will accommodate students interested in receiving course credit from their institutions. All positions are located at the AAAS headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Duties vary depending on the expertise and experience of the individual. Activities of past interns have included researching topics important for science and religion, assisting with publications, and providing support for project activities. Efforts are made to match the subject matter of the activities with the interests of the intern..
