Call for Career Workshop Proposals for AAAS 2014 Annual Meeting. Career development workshops are aimed at individuals who are seeking careers in science and engineering and professionals who are looking to sharpen or supplement their skills. These workshops are instructional or informational in nature and are markedly different from a symposium. The target audience is the student or scientist and his/her career. Workshops that go beyond a career development focus are inappropriate and will not be accepted into the program. All workshops are 60 minutes in length; only the workshop title, organizers, and a brief synopsis are published in the program book. Deadline to submit a workshop is Tuesday, 7 May 2013 at 11:59 pm PT.
