The Southern Society for Philosophy and Psychology

The Southern Society for Philosophy and Psychology was founded in 1904. Its purpose is to promote philosophy and psychology in the southern section of the United States by facilitating the exchange of ideas among those engaged in these fields of inquiry, by encouraging investigation, by fostering the educational function of philosophy and psychology, and by improving the academic status of the subjects. The Society’s meeting is open to anyone of any nationality.

Meetings:

The Southern Society for Philosophy and Psychology will meet April 13-15, 2006 at the Charleston Riverview Hotel in Charleston, SC. The 2007 meeting is not yet scheduled.

Each year, the Society publishes three newsletters which are available free online at http://sun.soci.niu.edu/~sspp/
