Court Appointed Scientific Experts Project: A Demonstration Project of the AAAS

Joseph Sanders, J.D., Ph.D.
Evaluation Subcommittee
Joseph Sanders is A.A. White Professor at the University of Houston
Law Center.  He holds a legal degree and a doctorate in sociology from Northwestern University.  He has published articles and books analyzing litigation that involves scientific and social science evidence, including studies of litigation surrounding the drug Bendectin and the use of social science in the school desegregation cases.  He is co-editor of "Modern Scientific Evidence: The Law and Science of Expert Testimony."
