AAAS Comments on Several Amendments to NSF Reauthorization Bill

AAAS CEO Alan Leshner sent a letter to Rep. Doris Matsui supporting her amendment to the NSF reauthorization bill. Dr. Leshner also sent letters to House Science and Technology Chairman Rep. Bart Gordon and Ranking Member Rep. Ralph Hall, urging them to lead efforts to oppose amendments aimed at restricting funding for selected NSF grants that had been awarded after peer-review.
