Climate Change:
From Scientific Knowledge to Policy Development

Congress is examining legislative proposals that address various aspects of climate change, with vast amounts of information circulating on the effects of these proposals on the environment and economy. This workshop will provide tools that can assist policymakers in deciphering the scientific information contained in these proposals and determining what science can and cannot contribute to the discussion.

The two-hour lunch event that is open to the public will feature a panel of leading scientific and policy experts giving short presentations. Ample time will be reserved for questions and discussion. Topics and speakers include:
