Events of the program are characteristically interdisciplinary and multi-religious. Past and ongoing events include:
- Lectures – Series of monthly public lectures providing opportunities for exploration of timely issues at the intersection of science, ethics, and religion.
- Conferences & Forums – National, public, and multi-day events which address various broad topics including evolution, the search for extraterrestrial life, and robotics. The events also address questions related to specific areas of emerging public policy significance.
- Workshops – Research groups address various emerging public policy issues to enhance the public discussion of their scientific, ethical, and religious dimensions.
- AAAS Annual Meeting Symposia - Symposia are presented at the AAAS Annual Meeting that increase dialogue in the scientific community about science and religion.
