Biography
Rabbi Nancy Fuchs-Kreimer received a B.A. from Wesleyan University, an M.A. from the Yale Divinity School, rabbinic ordination from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, and a Ph.D. in Religion from Temple University. She has served as Rabbinic Director of the Jewish Identity Enhancement Program of Jewish Family and Children's Service of Philadelphia. She has also been a board member of the Association for Religion and Intellectual Life and of the Maternity Care Coalition of Philadelphia, President of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association, Director of the Kaplan Institute for Adult Jewish Studies, and Editor of RAAYONOT (Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association journal). She is the author of Parenting as a Spiritual Journey (Harper Collins, 1996; Jewish Lights, 1998); articles in Journal of Ecumenical Studies, Religious Education, Cross Currents, Lilith, and The Reconstructionist; as well as other articles and book chapters. She also serves on the Academic Board of the Metanexus Institute in Philadelphia. Currently she is the Director of the Religious Studies Program, and Associate Professor of Religious Studies at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in Wyncote, PA.
