Biography

Audrey R. Chapman, Ph.D. is the Director of the AAAS Program of Dialogue on Science, Ethics and Religion as well as the AAAS Program on Science and Human Rights. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University and is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. She is the editor of Perspectives on Genetic Patenting: Religion, Science and Industry in Dialogue (AAAS, 1999) and the author of Unprecedented Choices: Religious Ethics at the Frontiers of Genetic Science (Fortress Press, 1999).
