Barbara Smith-Moran has earned three masters degrees:
in biology and chemistry from Johns Hopkins, in astronomy from Harvard,
and in theology from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA. She
is a life-professed member of the Society of Ordained Scientists, a dispersed
preaching order of the Anglican Church. She was the founding Director
of the New England Center for Faith and Science Exchange and the founding
Coordinator of the Religion and Science Program at the Boston Theological
Institute (BTI), the consortium of nine seminaries and divinity schools
in the greater Boston area. She is the Senior Editor of BTI's Journal
of Faith and Science Exchange. She is also serving as a parish priest
in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts.
