Biography

Sondra Wheeler, PhD, Yale University (1992) BA Wesleyan University (1979). Martha Ashby Carr Professor of Christian Ethics and teacher at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington DC. Work includes biblical ethics, the history of theological ethics, bioethics, and the virtue tradition. Author of Wealth as Peril and Obligation: The New Testament on Possessions; Stewards of Life: Bioethics and Pastoral Care; lectures and articles on biomedical ethics; and book sections and article in other areas in ethics.
