AAAS Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion (DoSER) facilitates communication between scientific and religious communities. The program builds on AAAS's long-standing commitment to relate scientific knowledge and technological development to the purposes and concerns of society at large.
Headlines
The Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion seeks a PhD scientist to work within the program as a Project Director. This is a senior position involving supervising DoSER staff and overseeing project activities. Position is listed as #2105.
With this year's Annual Meeting over, DoSER is proud to have hosted Three excellent symposia addressing brains, enviromental stewardship, and the synthesis of new life. Video will be posted shortly.
On December 13th, 2012 DoSER hosted speakers Denis Alexander and Steve Paulson for our Annual Holiday Lecture: Are We Only Our Genes? Read more about the event.
On May 10th DoSER and the American Astronomical Society hosted Losing the Night Sky, where we screened the award-winning documentary "The City Dark" and explored the question "what do we lose when we lose the night sky?" Keep an eye out for a video of the event soon...
