The AAAS Research Competitiveness Service draws upon the resources of the American science and engineering community to assist institutions in planning, reviewing or evaluating programs and initiatives in research, development, and innovation. We mobilize and tailor a team of scientists, engineers, science administrators or policy analysts to provide expert, objective advice, under the direction of America’s premier organization for the advancement of science.

Our clients include universities, government agencies, research consortia, and other institutions concerned with research, development, and technological innovation.

To provide guidance in science, policy and management, the Research Competitiveness Service calls upon a large and growing network of specialists to meet the needs of each project. Consultants are recruited from among AAAS members and affiliates, as well as other experts nationwide.
