About the Conference
|
This conference brought together leaders in the NSF EPSCoR
program and invited guests from the national research and science
policy communities to consider selected strategies for achieving
mainstream research competitiveness. By mainstream research
competitiveness, we mean the sustained ability to win a proportional
share of research and development awards in merit reviewed competition
with other institutions across the country. Participants worked
to identify and develop programmatic resources within NSF, AAAS
and the individual state EPSCoR programs for effectively pursuing
strategies for competing in the mainstream
