Welcome to the web page for the June 3-5, 1998 conference, "Networking Resources for Collaborative Research in the Southeast." The conference was organized by the Research Competitiveness Program (RCP) of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA) and the National Computational Science Alliance (NCSA). The agenda features presentations by Sid Karin, Director of the National Partnership for Advanced Computing Infrastructure (NPACI), and Juris Hartmanis, Assistant Director of the National Science Foundation (NSF) for Computer and Information Science and Engineering. Many of these presentations are avilable on-line.
