Research Competitiveness Program

Policy Studies and Presentations

AAAS policy studies in the area of research competitiveness predate the founding of the Research Competitiveness Program, and, indeed, led to its establishment to address some of the issues which our policy studies identified and analyzed.

Through workshops, conferences, symposia, and publications, RCP engages the R&D community in investigating and pursuing themes related to the development and evaluation of competitive research programs. These studies relate to concerns of EPSCoR states, lessons learned during the development of research institutions, the value of research collaborations, graduate and postdoctoral fellow training, international issues, research infrastructure, and more.
