Pallavi Phartiyal
Senior Program Associate, Research Competitiveness Program
Pallavi Phartiyal is a Senior Program Associate with the Research Competitiveness Program.
Before joining RCP, Pallavi was a Science Policy intern sponsored by the Burroughs Wellcome Fund at Research!America in Alexandria, VA. Pallavi earned her Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology from the department of physiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her dissertation focused on the assembly and trafficking of a potassium channel involved in maintaining cardiac rhythm. She received her M.S. in agronomy from the University of Missouri- Columbia, where she characterized enzymes involved in sulfur assimilation in soybeans. Pallavi is originally from India, where she obtained her B.S. in agriculture and animal husbandry.
