Published in spring 2012, AAAS Report XXXVII: Research and Development FY 2013 is a comprehensive analysis of R&D in the proposed federal budget for FY 2013. The report, an annual effort produced in collaboration with over 20 science and engineering associations, is now available online and in print. The 290-page report, including more than two dozen tables and 27 chapters on R&D by agency, theme, and discipline, is an authoritative reference on R&D in the President's Budget.

Science and Technology in a Vulnerable World The full text is available online in HTML and PDF formats. The six chapters comprising this volume are based on talks presented at the AAAS Colloquium on Science and Technology Policy, April 11-12, 2002. In an ordinary year, these presentations, and other papers from the meeting, would have been published as part of the 2003 AAAS Science and Technology Policy Yearbook. However, this was not an ordinary year in the aftermath of September 11, nor are this volume's issues ordinary policy concerns. Hence, AAAS has decided to expedite their publication by producing this special volume. |
