  • Workshop on Emerging Norms, Law and Ethics in Virtual Worlds: AAAS consponsored a workshop at Arizona State University (ASU) that explored the social, ethical, and legal implications surrounding virtual communities.  The workshop was held on March 10, 2008.
  • Human Enhancement: AAAS and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) will cosponsor a meeting in June 2008 in St. Petersburg, Russia to discuss gene doping in sport. For more on SFRL projects concerned with human enhancement, please visit: http://www.aaas.org/spp/sfrl/projects/human_enhancement/.
  • Judicial Seminars on Neuroscience: This project to educate judges on advances in neuroscience has been awarded a new grant by the Dana Foundation for four more seminars in 2008.
