SCIENCE Supplement to AAAS Science and Albert H. Teich Committee on Science, Engineering |
| The six chapters comprising this volume are based on talks presented at the AAAS Colloquium on Science and Technology Policy, April 11-12, 2002. In an ordinary year, these presentations, and other papers from the meeting, would have been published as part of the 2003 AAAS Science and Technology Policy Yearbook, which will appear in December. However, this is not an ordinary year in the aftermath of September 11, nor are this volume's issues ordinary policy concerns. Hence, AAAS has decided to expedite their publication by producing this special volume. | |
