Give Science a Voice

Accept the Jacobs' Challenge Match

As society confronts a daunting list of existential challenges, AAAS is working to ensure that scientific and evidence-based information is fully and positively integrated into public policy by filling a critical need for scientific and technical support for members of Congress.

By contributing to AAAS through the Jacob’s Challenge, there’s never been a better time to give to the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science & Technology Policy Fellowships (STPF) program.

Your support combined with a generous $2 million match from Qualcomm Co-founder Irwin Jacobs and his wife, Joan, will launch an endowment to provide sustained support to meet the Congressional demand for fellows and boost lawmakers’ access to scientific knowledge and promote evidence-based decision-making in the halls of Congress.

To make a gift or pledge towards the Jacobs' Challenge, complete this form and return it to Lauren Seligman at lseligman@aaas.org.
