Established in 1952 with funds donated by Arthur F. Bentley, the AAAS Prize for Behavioral Science Research (known until 1985 as the AAAS Socio-Psychological Prize) was offered annually until 1993 for a meritorious paper that furthers understanding of human psychological-social-cultural behavior.
