Anniversary ~ AAAS celebrates its roots.

The Pacific Division:  A Century of Meetings ~ The Division’s first meeting on 9 Aug. 1916, signified a greater push by AAAS to reach west coast scientists and address regional issues. To celebrate, the Archives created an interactive timeline which highlights the division's history within the context of a broad range of events in US and AAAS history as well as milestones in science.

150 Years of Advancing Science: A History of AAAS (1848-1998) ~  The life of the American Association for the Advancement of Science has been interwoven with the growth of American science. To celebrate, the Archives created an exhibit of artifacts, providing a glimpse at some of the people and events that have left an impression upon the Association's history. This online exhibit provides highlights.

Memoranda of William T. Golden: A Special Online Exhibit ~ William T. Golden served as Treasurer of AAAS from 1969 to 1999. In the early 1950s, he advised President Truman on the organization of scientific research and development throughout the government.
