Thirty aspiring science diplomats gathered in South Africa for a regional workshop on science diplomacy, an inaugural training partnership.
The American Association for the Advancement of Science will hold its 43rd annual Forum on Science & Technology Policy on June 21-22 in Washington, D.C. Members of the science and policy communities will gather under the banner of “U.S. Science, Innovation and Competitiveness: Current Status and Future Imperative.”
The upcoming “Science is Everything” series of public talks, April 26-28 in Lexington, Kentucky, promises more than the average science café. Sylvie Garneau-Tsodikova and the festival planning committee are organizing the event during the Keeneland horse races, when many people frequent the local bars, breweries, and other public venues where the talks will be held.
