The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) and the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS) collaborated with the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s Center for Scientific Evidence in Public Issues (AAAS EPI Center) for a discussion series on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

The American Association for the Advancement of Science’s Pacific Division will convene later this month on the Big Island of Hawaii to highlight research on subjects such as the effects of climate change on coral reefs and Hawaiian mountains under the banner of “Pacific Science.”
